Developments . . .

Last night I sat down and wrote down everything I want to include within the publication, and given the time scale I've given myself far too much to do, particularly in regard to the photo shoots.

Initially I didn't want too much involvement with the shoots, obviously helping out on the day and liaising with the photographers making sure that the shoot was on the right tracks, but I wanted to give a brief and have the photographer develop their own interpretation of the make do and mend/vintage theme. However it has not worked out like that at all, and have found myself involved heavily with all four shoots. Therefore I've decided to cut the shoot in the New Forest and concentrate on the three others which I feel will be much more successful, and find another way of incorporating the New Forest, maybe into a feature within the publication opposed to an actual shoot.

It's a shame to have to disappoint one of the photographers that I'd asked to do a shoot, but I think it will greatly benefit the publication, and is more realistic given the time.
