I first saw this book when I visited the Imperial War Museum in London a couple of weeks ago, it's half way between a recipe book and a guide on the Ministry of Food Campaign. it was produced in association with an exhibition that was on at the IWM which I unfortunately missed.
The book is proving really useful when it comes to writing the 'Grow Your Own' article, as I wanted to include a table of when to plant seeds and things in the garden, and it tells you this in the book as well as how to lay out your plot of land. Maybe a possible extension to the feature, looking at the rise in people owning/renting allotments.It was also something that Tony said about incorporating when I had my tutorial yesterday.
