This was the first tutorial I'd had for a while with Tony as I felt that I didn't really have enough work to show to get much feedback on, however in the last two weeks, I've been really motivated and done a lot of the content for the publication as well as the laser cuts, all of which I wanted to get some feedback on, to make sure I was going in the right direction. Everything was very positive, Tony came up with some suggestions about the packaging maybe being more tactile, something I am going to research further, he suggested a wooden box, but I think this would push the end price if the publication up to much, I have done some initial mind mapping and like the idea of creating some kind of gas mask box packaging or dome other form of packaging that is representative of the WW2 era.
We also discussed trying to get an interview with a land girl, which is something I think may prove tricky, all of my grandparents have died except one, and he was a young boy during the second world war. I have been asking friends and my mum to see of we may know of anyone that may be able to help, but this has not proved successful. But I'm determined to find one, and will continue to investigate further.
